AGC Safety Team Certified

LAMB Contracting’s number one priority is safety.

  • Our safety starts with predictive solutions. Predictive solutions implement the knowledge of the industry, its past success and failures, common occurrences, safety tools and tactics. We take pride in always striving to have the safest and most modern work sites in the industry.
  • All meetings in the field and office start with a safety briefing. This training and reminding each other helps everyone recognize any safety concerns which in turn helps prevent workplace incidences and keep safety top priority.
  • When a safety concern is raised by any worker it cannot be ignored. All of our team members have the authority to stop work to evaluate safety concerns.
  • We also take mental health seriously, especially in light of the past few years. We recommend reading AGC’s Mental Health & Suicide Prevention in Construction as well as their other resources for further information.

Committing to Safety

The Cornerstone of Every Construction Project

In the construction industry, safety isn't just a requirement; it's a culture. It is the thread that weaves through every activity, from planning to completion, ensuring that every worker returns home safely each day. Let's delve into the importance of construction safety and how LAMB Contracting tirelessly commits to maintaining an environment where safety is paramount.

The Imperative of Safety

Understanding the Risks:

Construction sites inherently possess various risks, from working at heights to operating heavy machinery. Understanding and mitigating these risks is crucial to preventing accidents and creating a safe working atmosphere.

Protecting Lives:

Every worker has the right to a safe workplace. Prioritizing safety means actively protecting lives, which is a moral and legal responsibility of every construction company.

Ensuring Project Success:

Safety and productivity are interlinked. A safe site is efficient and organized, which positively impacts project timelines and quality.

Our Safety Practices

Comprehensive Training:

At LAMB Contracting, we believe in empowering our workforce with extensive safety training, ensuring they can identify and navigate risks competently.

Utilizing Technology:

We leverage advanced technology to enhance safety. From drones for site surveys to software that notifies everyone of changes in conditions that need to be addressed immediately and stops work until fixed, technology plays a pivotal role in our safety protocols.

Continuous Improvement:

Our safety practices are never static. We actively pursue feedback, learn from every incident, and consistently update our safety policies and procedures to reflect best practices in the industry.

Creating a Safety Culture

Leadership Commitment:

Safety begins at the top. Our leadership not only advocates for safety but actively participates in fostering a culture where safety is non-negotiable.

Worker Engagement:

Every worker is a safety advocate. We encourage our team to voice concerns, offer suggestions, and take an active role in maintaining and improving safety standards.

Accountability:

We hold ourselves accountable for our workers' safety and well-being, and we instill a sense of shared responsibility amongst our team for maintaining a safe work environment.

Safety is not just about compliance; it's about commitment. At LAMB Contracting, we are unwavering in our pledge to create and maintain workplaces where safety is ingrained in every process and practice. Because in construction, success isn't just measured by the projects completed, but by the accidents prevented, and the lives protected.
